Zurrieq council is doing a splendid job widening the stretch over the Blue Grotto and embellishing the area used by pedestrians and cyclists. Now it is safer and more beautiful, and will serve as a much-needed recreational area.

I suggest this affair be extended to Hagar Qim Road. Qrendi council should find no problem forking out some money for it. Hagar Qim Road is more dangerous with lorry after lorry loaded with debris making their way from Lapsi quarry. The tourists and Maltese ramblers walk on the rubble walls to avoid being hit by the heavy vehicles.

At least, a pavement on the inner side of the road should be constructed so that the road keeps the same width. It is needed urgently.
