An innovative healthcare solution for Malta

A new company has been set up to assist local and foreign patients who are in need of medical assistance, but unable to afford private healthcare.

Operating under the name Easy Health Limited, the company will offer hundreds of individuals an ideal private healthcare financial solution.

"With ever increasing waiting lists, many individuals who cannot afford to pay for their healthcare in private hospitals or clinics, end up waiting for their turn for months or sometimes even years," company managing director Aldo Pace said.

Mr Pace said that the company will be negotiating with private hospitals and clinics on several requests received by its clients, saving them unwanted waiting time and above all money.

"We are offering negotiations on any type of medical assistance including minor/major operations, laboratory tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, MRI scans and radiology services, admission to private hospitals and others," Mr Pace added.

The company will also be offering payment options for patients who cannot afford to pay at one go; fast track appointments for tests and appointments with consultants; negotiations for the best possible prices; co-ordination of appointments and services between the healthcare provider and the patient; and other health-related services.

"We hope to make private healthcare more accessible to a wider spectrum of people and contributing to lessen the burden on the national health service," he said.
