Deo Pace, 20, of Valletta died in hospital where he was being treated after he received an electric shock on Sunday, the police said.
The police found Mr Pace lying on the ground in his house in St Christopher Street, corner with Old Bakery Street, Valletta at about 5 p.m. on Sunday. It is thought Mr Pace was checking some electric cables when the accident occurred. He was rushed to hospital by ambulance where he was found to be in critical condition.
