Respite home to embellish garden

Dar Il-Kaptan, a respite home for people with special needs in Mtarfa, plans to embellish the garden surrounding its premises with funds received from Strina and from the Rotary Club La Vallette.

Last year, a new extension was built to the home and an air-conditioner was installed. It now has a Mercedes van, which was bought with the funds raised by the Rotary Club Malta while other funds were given by the local business community and the Community Chest Fund.

The home held its annual general meeting at its premises in Mtarfa on July 6.
