The Malta Labour Party is expected to hold an extraordinary general conference to approve its plans on industry, education, health and Gozo later this month.

MLP deputy leader Michael Falzon said yesterday the conference would meet between July 20 and 22, with the first two sessions held at the party headquarters in Hamrun while the last session should be held in Gozo.

After publishing the draft plans, the MLP has been meeting different stakeholders and getting their feedback, an exercise which Dr Falzon said had been welcomed by stakeholders.
