Above is a photo showing the palm trees on a public road planted with the approval of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority years ago. This was a huge contribution to the environment and the beauty of the entrance to the village of Sannat, Gozo.

The local council, together with the Ministry of Gozo, are bent on destroying this environmental beauty. If Mepa approves their plans it will be criminal and scandalous. I appeal for this disaster not to take place.

There will be an outcry throughout Gozo and Malta.
