IT Minister Austin Gatt was reported in The Times to have said it is shameful that the MLP's document on public sector reform does not even contain one sentence about e-government.

The minister should be informed that as I had occasion to announce recently, in the near future the MLP will be publishing its own vision statement on IT which also involves the e-government sector.

The relative document is being finalised and will be submitted for approval by the party structures as and when the MLP administration deems fit.
