A group of actors from the Malta Drama Centre have just returned from Linz in Austria where they took part in the International Theatre Festival along with other participating countries Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Russia.

The festival is organised every three years around Austria.

The Maltese actors performed a satirical piece based on the travails of Gahan, the folk-idiot.

The performance was set to music and was written and directed by Lino Farrugia on a concept originated by Albert Marshall.
