Surcharge cut by two per cent

The government yesterday announced a two per cent cut in the fuel surcharge on electricity.

The 64 per cent fuel surcharge in May/June was reduced to 62 per cent for July/August.

The fuel surcharge on electricity consumption is calculated on the basis of the price Enemalta pays for fuel.
