MP takes exception to Sunday paper article

Labour MP Silvio Parnis has filed a libel suit claiming that the contents of an article published in Il-Mument last Sunday were libellous and defamatory.

Mr Parnis filed the suit against journalist Jean Pierre Debono and Il-Mument editor Victor Camilleri over the article Kazi dwar wirt u xiri ta' propjetá quddiem l-amministrazzjoni tal-MLP fil-kaz ta' Silvio Parnis (MLP administration looking into inheritance and property purchase cases involving Silvio Parnis).

Lawyer John Vassallo signed the writ.
