The Maltese people should do something drastic about the invasion of the island. It is not enough to keep saying that the EU must help. Can't it be seen that the Maltese are losing their heritage? According to history, they have fought wars to keep invaders at bay. Now they are doing nothing.

The island is too small to help the illegal immigrants. There is no physical land. What is going to happen to the children?

The Maltese need to take the example of Australia. The government there turned the illegal immigrants back. Of course there was an outcry but afterwards the world acknowledged the problem and agreed. Malta must do the same. It must seek help from bigger nations who could send their navy. If EU countries do not want to listen, ask the US, which can keep track from the skies and warships.

Malta is too small a country to be helpful to the immigrants. Even bigger countries can't absorb illegal migration: how on earth does one expect Malta to cope?
