Geldof arrives

Bob Geldof arrived last night on board an Air Malta flight from Heathrow. The captain was Philip Vassallo, who is one of the professionals on the board of YMCA's Friends.
Geldof will today be headlining the live YMCA music festival at Manoel Island. The gates open at 5.30 p.m.
The event, featuring over five hours of live music, will be filmed for screening on local TV stations during a YMCA fund-raising marathon. Over 3,000 tickets have sold and the last remaining ones can be bought at the door or from Vodafone outlets.
