I have nothing against Valletta: it is a beautiful city of which I am proud. It is part of us all. What really upsets me is the historical city advertising Floriana's heritage, like the war monuments, the Triton Fountain, the Phoenicia Hotel, and the Waterfront, as its own.

I am sick of arguing with people about what is in Floriana and what is not. The Triton Fountain was always photographed with Floriana in the background. Now I have seen postcards with City Gate behind it - which, by the way, doesn't do it any credit.

We have quite a few Floriana people in high authority. Have they nothing to say? Please do something before it's too late and Floriana loses all its grandeur.
