Dr David Brownrigg, the University of London's External Programme course director, will address prospective students intending to read for an undergraduate degree programme in computing and information systems, at St Martin's Institute of IT, Hamrun, on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
St Martin's Institute, a teaching institution for the University of London External Programme, offers the opportunity for Maltese and international students to read a wide array of diplomas and degrees in business, computing, information systems, management and economics.
St Martin's Institute of IT has been tutoring students for the University of London degrees since 2000. The first five years saw the school excel in its educational standards, with all students sitting for their annual examinations passing their exams.
Again this year, St Martin's students stood out during the graduation ceremony held in London in March - among the nine Maltese graduates, four out of the five first-class honours attained worldwide were St Martin's students. Moreover, one of the graduates was also awarded the University of London prize for academic achievement for 2005.
St Martin's Institute of IT is offering a unique opportunity for students to read the following programmes of the University of London in Malta: diplomas in computing and IS, economics, and B.Sc. (Hons) degrees in business, computing and IS, creative computing, economics and management, information systems and management, and management.
Further details about these programmes is available at www.stmartins.edu and will be given during Wednesday's information meeting at St Martin's Institute of IT. Entrance is by invitation which can be obtained by phoning 2123-5451 or e-mail infodesk@stmartins. edu.
