Science on Stage is an initiative for European teachers in secondary schools organised by a consortium of seven European organisations called EIRO forum.

The main aim of the project is to promote scientific literacy and to increase the public understanding on science among Europeans by providing alternative ways of conveying the wonder and excitement of science to students.

Science on Stage brings together science teachers who share and exchange innovative and successful teaching methods and materials to strengthen young people's interest in science and technology.

The Maltese National Steering Committee for Science on Stage will be launching this project at the end of October. Interested teachers will be asked to present their projects at a later stage during a national contest.

The winner of the most outstanding project, selected by the committee, will participate and present his/her project in the next Science on Stage festival in Grenoble in April next year.

Interested participants are kindly asked to forward their contact details to the National Steering Committee at registration@scienceonstagemalta.info. They will then be invited to attend the Science on Stage project launch.
