Neptunes will be organising their annual summer swimming school, between July 3 and September 15, for children aged four years and older. Swimmers will be split into age-graded groups with special emphasis on teaching the correct breathing and stroke techniques.

Successful swimmers in the advanced groups may continue training with the Neptunes Swimming Unit throughout the year.

Last summer over 170 attended the school and the majority completed the course and were given a Certificate of Attendance.

Swimming School participants may choose either morning or afternoon lessons.

The Neptunes Swimming Unit was established 20 years ago. Some of Malta's top swimmers have had their grassroots at Neptunes including Angela Galea who represented Malta at the Olympics and GSSE over the years.

The waterpolo nursery (July 4 to September 14) will be run by Charlie Mock.

Waterpolo lessons will be held on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings.

Further information and registration forms may be downloaded from www.neptuneswpsc.com. Registration days are Monday and Tuesday, 6 to 7.30 p.m., at the club.
