A Labour Party delegation and top Dubai government officials have discussed trade opportunities between Malta and Dubai.

The delegation is being led by deputy leader Charles Mangion.

The party said that as a result of talks yesterday, operators who are interested in tapping the Dubai tourism market have been invited to take part in the Arabian Travel Market which is being held next May.

Among others, the delegation also had a meeting with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry during which the possibility of companies from Dubai setting up shop in Malta jointly with Maltese entrepreneurs was discussed.
