Beach ladder

A year ago I wrote to The Times with reference to a broken, drifting ladder at the flat rocks of Qawra; a beautiful tranquil place. I pointed out the dangers of trying to get in and out of the sea.

This year, to my delight, there is a new ladder which is easy to see and does not wobble.

Well done to The Times; my joy is unconfined!
