Transport Minister Jesmond Mugliett said yesterday that while it may be too early to apportion blame in the case of alleged abuses by driving examiners, the transport authority (ADT) over the coming days will launch a review of its structures, reporting lines and whether there had been indications that all was not well and how these were acted upon.

Mr Mugliett was replying to questions in Parliament by Labour MP Joe Mizzi, who asked who would shoulder responsibility for what had happened.

Mr Mugliett said one could not apportion blame yet because the police still had to formally press charges and one had to see the outcome of their investigations.
