A man was yesterday put on probation for two years after he pleaded guilty to damaging the front door of a house when he was drunk after attending a wedding.

Magistrate Anthony Vella heard Victor Camilleri, 39, of Birkirkara admit to damaging the front door of Joseph and Marica Bonello's house and breaching the peace on Saturday night.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted.

Lawyers José Herrera and Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused.
