Parking near hospital

In the letter Hospital Car Park (June 8), Joseph Farrugia laments the service given by the car park attendants at what he refers to as St Luke's Hospital's car park.

I would like to clarify the negative impression that the letter may have given to readers about the management of the hospital's car park.

The cark park is managed professionally by a private company and the attendants do not keep car keys. The correspondent is obviously referring to some other car park in the vicinity of the hospital. The hospital's management is only responsible for the car park within the hospital grounds.
