Flagship liner set to sail

MSC Musica, the latest flagship of MSC Cruises, will set sail on its maiden voyage on July 1.

Exclusively represented in Malta by Hamilton Travel, MSC Musica will be sailing on an eight-day cruise every Saturday from Venice to destinations such as Bari, Katakolon, Izmir, Istanbul, and Dubrovnik.

The 92,000-tonne new liner, which is 293 metres long and 32 metres wide, will be christened by Sophia Loren, Italy's ambassador for beauty and elegance, in Venice on June 29.

The liner will be able to host 2,550 guests in 1,275 cabins, 80 per cent of which are external with the majority having a balcony.

MSC Musica promises endless adventures in a world of decadent cuisine, wellness bars and fitness centres, three pools, four Jacuzzis and luxurious spas, a spokesman for the operators said.
