I write to express disappointment at the Sting concert. I paid Lm100 for two tickets back in April but I was right at the back of a large area, the so-called Golden Circle. Someone I know purchased his ticket the day before and was in row J. I was told in April that there were just a couple of Lm50 tickets left and I was in row Z.

Our seats were so close to the rows in front and behind that we could hardly get to them. People around us were getting all upset and guarding their own space and this caused bad feeling before the concert had even begun.

There was nowhere to park and there were only two toilets with a wait of 30 minutes. Tickets at Lm50 were still on sale. Where were they going to accommodate more people on a seat let alone in comfort?

Yes, Sting was good. He is an international artist and deserves a fitting venue, and those who paid for tickets deserve a standard in line with the other venues on his tour.

In April I paid Lm12 for a T-shirt but was misled. Malta was not mentioned on the back. I went to this concert - not any of the others - and wanted a shirt to proclaim that. I came home wondering how many tickets they could sell and what about health and safety?

How many people spent their hard-earned Lm50 and feel the same as I do? Quite a few I think. VIP tickets should mean VIP.
