More immigrants
A group of 28 illegal immigrants were landed at Hay Wharf by an AFM patrol boat early yesterday.
Their wooden boat was spotted by a private aircraft 39 nautical miles southwest of Gozo on Friday afternoon and it was intercepted by a Maltese patrol boat in the evening.
The migrants - 19 men, five women and four children - were taken on board the patrol boat after their boat changed course for Gozo. The migrants were in good health.
