Shaquille O'Neal has vowed to become more involved in the offence today when the Miami Heat try to recover from a dispiriting loss to Dallas Mavericks in the opening game of the NBA Finals.
The Miami Heat centre scored 17 points in a 90-80 loss to the Mavericks on Thursday, hitting eight of 11 shots, but the 14-time All-Star failed to make a real impact.
"The burden is always going to be on me and I've accepted that ever since 1992," O'Neal said, referring to his first year in the league. "Whenever we don't play well, I take a lot of it on my shoulders anyway."
