A Moroccan man was yesterday given a three-month jail term suspended for a year for making use of a forged passport to enter Malta.

Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani heard Mohammed Bouabid, 45, plead guilty to the charge. He will be deported. Police Inspector Jeffrey Cilia prosecuted.

Lawyer Leslie Cuschieri represented the accused.
