I am writing to enquire what the Minister of Tourism is doing for the wonderful island of Gozo? My wife and I have been coming over for many years and find to our horror that hotels are closing down because of the excessive and unjust increases in electricity rates, businesses are under threat and the roads in chaos right at the start of the holiday season.

Gozo is a paradise island, unique in character with wonderful, friendly people. What is the Minister Francis Zammit Dimech, doing to justify his salary?

The Maltese islands should be promoted for what they are and hotels and restaurants encouraged instead of being taxed and charged out of existence.
