Almost three centuries after it was constructed, St Paul's chapel, in Attard, is being restored to its original state.

The restoration is overseen by Reno Saliba with the full backing of the Attard parish and the support of GasanMamo Insurance who have agreed to part finance the project.

The works should last a year with most being done on the exterior in order to stall further damage.

The restored chapel, built in 1729, will be used for cultural and spiritual purposes.
