The owner of a building which houses an Enemalta sub-station yesterday filed a judicial protest requesting the Mosta local council to remove a planter that was obstructing access to the station.

In the protest, Exalco Group Ltd explained that it was the owner of The Cornerstone Complex in Mosta where there was a sub-station run by Enemalta Corporation.

When there was the market in the area the main access to the sub-station was often blocked and as a result, a path had been constructed to allow access to the station by car.

But the path, which had been constructed with full authorisation, was now being obstructed by a planter placed there by the local council.

The company held the local council liable in damages suffered.

Lawyer Andrew Borg Cardona signed the protest.
