ATTARD. On May 13, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Lara née Azzopardi and Bernard, God's precious gift of a first-born daughter - AMY. Thanks to the gynaecologist, midwife Lillian Azzopardi and all the midwives and nurses at the maternity ward.
CAMILLERI. On May 31, at St James Hospital, Zabbar, to Tanya née Aquilina and Evan, God's precious gift of a son - MATTHEW, a welcome brother to Luke. Special thanks to the obstetrician, midwives Mariella Abela Camilleri and Anna Croucher. Thanks to all the staff for their support and dedication.
CASSAR. On May 13, at Gozo General Hospital Maternity Wing, to Chantal née Falzon and Pierre, God's precious gift of a daughter - MAIA KYLIE, a most welcome sister to Jade Kelly. Heartfelt thanks to all the maternity staff, especially midwife Miriam Attard and the obstetricians.

Marriages
Mr ADRIAN HILLMAN, BA, MA (Sussex), M.Phil., and Miss VELISLAVA TCHAKAROVA, BA
The marriage took place on Saturday, June 3, at the Onorati Oratory of the Jesuit Church, Valletta, between ADRIAN, son of Mr and Mrs Colin Hillman of Swieqi, and VELISLAVA, daughter of Mrs Dora Flammang of the USA. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Professor Saviour Chircop. The ceremony was witnessed by President Emeritus Professor Guido DeMarco, and Mr Jim Flammang. The Honourable Mario DeMarco, LL.M. (Cantab.), LL.D., MP was best man, while Mr Michel Rizzo, Mr Matthew Naudi and Mr Evgeni Dimov were ushers. The bride, who was given away by her brother Nikola Tchakarov, was attended by the bridesmaid, Ms Mina Marinova, while Miss Francesca Naudi and Master Timothy Naudi were flower-girl and pageboy respectively. A reception was later held at Villa Parisio, Lija.
Obituary
Camilleri. On June 3, at St Luke's Hospital, Charles, of Mosta, residing in Bugibba, aged 70, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters Ìuza, widow of Joseph Spiteri, Sr Luisa Camilleri, Sister of Charity, Doris, widow of Alan Handyside, Jane and her husband George Muscat, Leli and his wife Carmen, residing in Australia, George and his wife Lily, residing in Canada, Maria and her husband Emanuel Abdilla, and Angela and her husband Dominic Farrugia, his nephews and nieces, relatives and friends in Malta, Canada and the US. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Mosta parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FENECH. On May 24, HELEN, of Floriana, widow of Joseph, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her three children Joseph and his wife Elisabeth, Carmen and her husband Michael Camilleri of Australia, and Annie and her husband Tony Bonnici, her four grandchildren Angele and her husband Joseph Cutajar, Justin, Nigel and Glorianne, her great-grandchildren, relatives and her dear friends. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her beloved husband Stephen (Effie), her sons Anthony and his wife Moira and Roger and his wife Corinne, her grandchildren Karl, Giselle, June, Mylene and Karine, her brother Eric and his wife Julie, her sister Rose and her husband George Kissaun, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
