Heritage Malta and Valencia's cultural heritage foundation, Fundacion Jaume II El Just, have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at promoting Maltese and Spanish cultural heritage.

The agreement will pave the way for exhibitions to be held in Malta and in Spain. The institutions will also discuss ways to encourage the exchange of artists, conservators, curators and cultural heritage managers in an effort to share knowledge and experience.

The two sides will also seek to give importance to the Mediterranean's cultural heritage and to initiate dialogue, and possibly co-operation, with non-EU members in the Mediterranean.
