The Da Vinci Code - a personal testimony

What the devil means for bad, God turns into good. Spiritually I was a passive person but always eager to know about the truth especially what will happen in the afterlife. Back in October 2004 I bought a copy of The Da Vinci Code. At that time, though it was a best seller, it was not something everyone was talking about and frankly I did no know what it was really about.

Dan Brown's main success was how he managed to mix fiction and fact in such a way that the reader does not notice what is true and what is not. That led me to do some intensive research on the internet which in turn led me to cross reference with the Bible. The research at first was based on historians' and archaeologists' discoveries and the more research I did the more I discovered that the Bible is the most accurate and ancient documentation we have.

I ended up reading the Bible every day which contributed to changing my life and only then did I understand what Christians meant when they said that the Word of God is alive. Yes it is and today I can really say that I have discovered Jesus in a real way, not through religion or tradition but through a personal relationship.

To conclude, I pray to our Heavenly Father that The Da Vinci would have this effect on all people who read the book and watched the movie.
