Maltese, Welsh people put their heads together

Pembroke local council and St David's Welsh Society (Malta) have signed an agreement setting up a joint coordinating committee.

The aim is to encourage, develop and strengthen links between the residents of Pembroke Malta, Pembroke Dock and the town of Pembroke in Wales.

Another aim of the committee involves holding activities to raise funds with the intention to support Maltese charitable institutions.

Membership is open to Welsh people living in Malta, Maltese people of Welsh descent or with family members residing in Wales, and to Maltese nationals.
