The second group of persons aged 40 and over have received their certificates after successfully completing the TEES (Training and Employment Exposure Scheme) programme.

TEES is a project for people registering for work who are aged 40 and over set up by the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC).

It is partially funded by the European Social Fund of the European Union.

Seventy-five per cent of the total expenditure of TEES was funded by the European Union, under the Structural Funds Programme for Malta 2004-2006, while the remaining 25 per cent was paid for by the Maltese government.
