BOV's credit and debit interest rates on lira deposits as well as on its loan and overdraft accounts have been reviewed upwards.

Credit interest rates for one-year fixed deposits will be increased by 0.5 per cent, while amounts in excess of Lm10,000 for such accounts will attract an increased interest rate of 0.55 per cent.

Interest rates on credit cards will remain unchanged.

These increases took effect yesterday.
