France forward Djibril Cisse says he will almost certainly leave Liverpool because he does not get on well with coach Rafael Benitez.

"It will be very difficult for me to stay," Cisse told reporters yesterday at France's pre-World Cup training camp outside Paris.

"I've experienced a very difficult season and I don't want to go through another one.

"It's a pity because I love Liverpool and I feel at home there but apparently the coach doesn't like me."

The 24-year-old, who joined Liverpool from Auxerre in 2004, said the most likely option was a return to France and named Olympique Marseille, Olympique Lyon and Paris St Germain as possible destinations.

"Marseille is the club closest to my heart but there is also Lyon and Paris," said Cisse, who was born near Marseille.

Cisse said he hoped his future could be clarified before the World Cup finals in Germany start on June 9.
