A cationary tale with a happy ending:

Until recently, clothes in our cupboards have all been neatly buttoned up (where necessary), cleaned or valeted before hanging up and finally covered with plastic; I am very particular.

No more!

Imagine my amazement and distress when I took down a special outfit for a wedding to find it was covered with 'age spots'. Queens Dry Cleaners to the rescue! Once again Manuel worked his magic. The 'age spots' (matching my own real ones), were caused by my over zealous care. "Plastic," Manuel tells me, is the worst covering for garments as materials cannot 'breathe'.

Manuel Azzopardi's intimate knowledge of fabrics, his dedication and his wizardry with the chemicals that he uses, restored an expensive dress and coat. Otherwise, their fate was the dustbin. My daughter spent a large amount of money having a designer make her a very special skirt. Specialist cleaning in London resulted in disaster. Manuel to the rescue again. We are so lucky to have this award-winning member of the IFI (International Fabricare Institute) working for us in this island. Queens Dry Cleaners do unparalleled work, trust them for all your cleaning for happy endings and "No more plastic storage". (Sally Brousson)

I thank Mrs Brousson for such an informative 'positive note'. Moreover, I compliment Manuel on having made such a positive impact on her. Our "positive notes" file has been empty since April 23. Ms Brousson's "positive note" never made it to the file. Please, catch them doing something good.
