Tumas Dingli Primary School, in Attard, will be launching the book A Magic World at the school on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The book is a result of the school's involvement over the past three years with the Socrates-Comenius Project called Tales For Children - Friend For Life.

The aim was to help pupils bridge fantasy and reality. The pupils wrote a book of short stories with each story being started by a country, continued by another and finished by a third. The countries were Malta, Germany and Italy.

The project was carried out by e-mail and all three stories have been translated into Maltese, English, Italian and German.

One of the stories will be presented as a play on Tuesday. There will also be an art exhibition by local and foreign artists at the school.
