A 36-year-old inmate will be spending another six months behind bars for threatening the prison director at the Corradino Correctional Facility last January.

Magistrate Anthony Vella found Marco Pace, known as Il-Pinzell, guilty of threatening Police Superintendent Sandro Gatt and with relapsing in division six on January 16 at about 7.30 a.m.

Mr Pace was however cleared of threatening to harm Mr Gatt's family.

Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.

Lawyer Giannella Caruana Curran appeared for Mr Pace.
