Farsons, half a century ago

Simonds Farsons Cisk has published a book entitled L-Industrija Ta' Simonds Farsons Cisk Ltd L-Imriehel - Malta, penned by Richard Matrenza and dealing with the brewery as it was in 1956.

Farsons Group chief executive Louis Farrugia has formally presented a copy of the book to Mr Matrenza at the Brewery.

Fifty years ago, while following a teacher's training course, Mr Matrenza chose to focus on an important manufacturing enterprise of the time for his dissertation and wrote a report on Simonds Farsons Cisk.

The publication of this facsimile of Mr Matrenza's original work was entrusted to Book Distributors Ltd, of San Gwann.
