I would like to express my utter disappointment over the Amedeo Minghi concert. During the publicity campaign the venue was always given as the Valletta Waterfront but when we arrived we found out that it was to be a run-down hall in the old power station. Besides having been misled, I don't think this was the right venue for a concert by an artist of Amedeo Minghi's calibre.

Besides the fact that the venue was degrading the acoustics made for bad sound. The show did not start on schedule and the unnumbered seats caused complete confusion among the audience. The singer himself was very nervous about the whole situation and at one point he even stopped the concert. Some Italian people told me that this was the worst concert they had ever been to. This is all bad publicity for the country.

I will never attend another concert by these organisers. It was the same story for the Marco Masini concert in Gozo.

I don't think that the consumer should be treated in such a disgraceful manner especially when the tickets were selling at high prices.
