Hibs Medsea maintained their stranglehold on the BoV Knock-Out competition.

Yesterday, Hibs shrugged aside Luxol Vodafone 71-50 in the final to retain this honour for the seventh successive season.

Beverlee Zammit was an inspirational player for the Paolites yesterday. She potted a series of three pointers in the opening two sessions as Hibs headed for the interval 34-24 ahead.

At the start of the third session, Luxol tried to battle their way back into contention but their hopes all but vanished when they lost playmaker Kirstin Micallef who was fouled out. That paved the way for Hibernians to widen their gap on Luxol and seal their 11th KO success.

Zammit was the game's leading scorer with 30 points while Caroline Fenech top scored for Luxol with 12 points.
