Model Boats
The Malta Model Boating Association, in conjunction with the Società Filarmonica Sliema, will be holding a regatta for radio-controlled model boats on June 4 at Sliema.
Boats will be sailed from the shore and spectators can follow the keen racing, particularly the positioning for a good start.
As for the big boats, wind provides the power to the sails. Boats are sailed over a course by means of two controls, one for the rudder and one for the winch.
