¤ The Ninu Cremona Lyceum Complex, Victoria, is holding its annual spring fair today from 9 a.m. Activities include a football tournament for children under 12, a Playstation 2 competition, a remote controlled car competition, and a demonstration by Civil Protection personnel at 11 a.m. There will be a bouncy castle for children. There will also be stalls with plants, books, cakes, clothes and accessories. Part of the proceeds will go to the Arka Foundation.

¤ Xaghra today celebrates the feast of St Joseph. Solemn vespers at 4.30 p.m. will be followed by a concelebrated Mass at 5. Nazzareno Refalo's Missa Pastorale will be performed by the Our Lady of Victories orchestra, choir and soloists, under the direction of Mro Ronald Camilleri. At 7, a procession with the statue of St Joseph will leave the basilica, led by archpriest Mgr Eucharist Sultana, accompanied by the Victory Band and the Nativitas choir. At 8.15, the Victory Band will play marches from Victory Square to the Victory Band Club.

¤ A thanksgiving Mass, organised by the Gozo Association for the Deaf, will be said at Ghasri parish church today at 5.15 p.m.

¤ A coffee morning will be held at Crystal Palace, Marsalforn, on Tuesday at 9.15 a.m. Transport leaves Savina Square, Victoria, at 8.45. Tickets are obtainable from Grace Debono (tel. 2155-1460) or Coney Island Bar (2155-1289).

¤ Fr Pierre Farrugia, OFM, is celebrating a Mass for young people at St Anthony's church, Ghajnsielem, on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

¤ Dr Gorg Mifsud Chircop is giving an animated lecture on "Maltese Ballads and High Pitched Singing" on Independence Square, Victoria, on Thursday at 7 p.m.

¤ Art..e Gallery in Victoria is hosting an exhibition Vision of Light featuring recent abstract works by Mark Sagona. The gallery is open during office hours.

¤ Exhibitions open until May 31 include a permanent exhibition at Art Box, with works by international artists, on St Joseph Square, Qala, open during office hours; a collective exhibition organised by the Pope John Paul II Monument Committee at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria. (Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. till noon.); and a mosaic exhibition by Kohan Mosacm at the Exhibition Hall on St Francis Square, Victoria. ¤ A talk on the theme "The Well Being of Man and Woman", dealing with problems associated with prostate health, and menopause and osteoporosis, is being held at the Calypso Hotel, Marsalforn, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. The speakers are Mr Karl German, MS, FRCS, FRCSED, FRCS (Urol), Mr Steve Mattocks, MD, FRCS (Edin.), FRCS (Glas.), FRCS (Urol.), FEBU; and Dr Robert Sciberras, MO.AMusLCM, MRCP (UK), Dip.Hlth.Mgt (Keele), FRCP (Lond).
