Obituary
CARUANA. On May 18, at St Luke's Hospital, MARIA née Quintano, widow of Anthony, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leave to mourn her loss her son Tony and his wife Doris, her grandson Norbert and his wife Monica, her great-grandsons Danilo and Nicolò, her sister Carrie Quintano, her brother-in-law Emanuel Tonna, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2.15 p.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church in Fleur de Lys where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
MALLIA PULVIRENTI. On May 17, MAY, née Camilleri, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved only daughter Marie, her brother Effie, her grandchildren Sabine and her husband Neville, Marc and his girlfriend Joanna, her nieces Simone and Thelma and other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where a Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

Junior Chamber
A set of training events called Leading At The Edge was held by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta and conducted by the Scottish JCI international trainer, Ian Thomson.
JCI Malta offered exclusive training events to its corporate partners and members as part of its training commitment. Separate events were held at JCI Malta's corporate partner hotel, Corinthia San Gorg Hotel. Corporate partners who attended included HSBC, KPMG, Air Malta, Allied Newspapers Ltd, Vodafone and Corinthia San Gorg Hotel.
Moreover, HSBC and KPMG, both JCI platinum corporate partners, have invited Mr Thomson to provide in-house training for their employees.

Grenoble Graduates
Nine students have obtained an MBA degree with distinction from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. The school is locally represented by the e-Foundation for business education.
Allison Vodden, director of studies of Grenoble Graduate School of Business, said that as in previous years, the high level reached by the Maltese students was commendable.
The graduates were Per Christensen, Peter Kristensen, Marvic Attard, Pierre Dalmas, Jason Zammit, Henry Gauci, Michael Schembri, Daniel Magrin and Joseph Muscat.
Competition Winners
Simon Galea, Michel Rizzo, Jonathan Mulvaney and Rene Sciberras watched the final of the Champions League in Paris after winning a slogan competition of the Charles Grech Liquor Store in Valley Road, Birkirkara.
The prize consisted of flights, accommodation and tickets to the match. The winners of the consolation prizes have been notified by post.
