Full points for top four as Aercomms edge closer to title

Only four fixtures remain in the Middlesea League at the Eden Superbowl, with all of the top four teams claiming full-point victories on week 19.

Aercomms remain 14 points clear having beaten Interwetten Alley Catz as second-placed Fina First marked up a whitewash against Globalair Travel.

Ramis gathered all eight points from Sammy's Embroideries while Fina Excel's 8-0 win came against bottom side Fireballs who could well be the first team to be confirmed as relegated in their next fixture.

In other matches, there was a six-point win for New Blood over Royal Shock while the match between Swoosh and Right Deal ended in a four-all stalemate.

Aercomms can almost taste sweet victory in the straight for home having been denied league glory in the previous two seasons by Veltins and Fina First respectively.

They continue to stay a step ahead of the pack after the high-scoring 8-0 win over the Catz, their 2,491 total being the highest team effort of the week. This match also produced both bowlers of the week.

Time is running out for outgoing champions Fina First whose 8-0 hammering of ninth-placed Globalair could do nothing to hinder Aercomms' runaway lead.

Ramis, on their part, claimed an easy eight points in their match against Sammy's Embroideries who are now staring relegation in the face.
