Melvin Pace, 19, of Zabbar, was yesterday charged with being in possession of counterfeit money and knowingly circulating counterfeit Lm10 and Lm2 notes. He was also separately accused of being in possession of heroin and relapsing. Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.

Lawyers Franco Debono and Charmaine Cherett assisted the accused.
