Two foreign men are in custody and the police are looking for a third after they were informed by an anonymous caller that a "rape" was underway in St Julians Bay at about 4.15 yesterday morning, the police said. When officers arrived on the scene they found two young Swedish women bearing what looked like scratches on their arms.
It has not yet been established whether rape had in fact been committed, the police said.
