On a positive note

Our 'On a positive note' file is empty yet again. On the other hand, our complaints files are bulging. I must appeal to you again - please catch them doing something good and share the information with other consumers in this column.

In this spirit, I take the opportunity to thank and compliment Ramon Mizzi, chief executive, Citadel Insurance, on the way he dealt with a case involving Claire Baron Bello.

Mrs Baron Bello and I had a meeting with Mr Mizzi. After having discussed the issues involved, without going into detail, Mr Mizzi made an ex-gratia offer. Suffice it to say that Mr and Mrs Baron Bello accepted the offer and appreciate Mr Mizzi's understanding. I dare say they are satisfied customers and thank Mr Mizzi for his co-operation.
