The Raxen Network has "strongly condemned" the "cowardly" acts of violence and arson against its fellow focal point in Malta, the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice and the Jesuit Refugee Service.
The network represents 26 organisations appointed by the European Union to monitor racism throughout the EU and in Bulgaria and Romania.
"We are shocked and appalled by the latest attack which is part of a series of arson attacks on the service and the second in the space of a month.
"These incidents are an attack against all anti-racists across Europe and the very foundations of all that is democratic in Europe. The effort to intimidate, harass and undermine those committed to uprooting racism in our societies and Europe at large will not shake our resolve and determination," it said.
